Function |
Parasols were still available up until the 1920s, when ladies tended to want suntanned complexions rather than pale Victorian-style complexions. In the 19th-century, ladies usually aimed to have at least a black parasol and a white parasol. If they could afford it, they sometimes would have more than these, to match outfits. |
