Description |
A red, grey, and black striped shawl with chevrons in the middle and on either side of each of stripe. Coloured fringe to match each stripe on short ends and ecru fringe on long sides. |

This item likely belonged to Mrs. H.W. Jenkins, the mother of Eva E. Jenkins, the last owner. Herbert W. Jenkins married Jeanette (Jessie) Gunn (b. 1851) of Sydenham Township, Grey County. They resided at Owen Sound. Jeanette passed away in 1900. Her mother was Barbara Gunn (née McKay), wife of Marcus Gunn. |
