Wooden clothes hanger with a metal hook. The wooden pieces are black-printed on one side with advertising for "C. E. HENNING, TAILOR & MENS WEAR, HANOVER, ONT." The hanging bar is dowel-style. |

Manufacturer unknown. Likely dates to the 1930s. This item advertised the tailoring and Men's Wear business of C. E. Henning, of Hanover, Grey County. It was located on 7th Avenue, and was in operation between 1930 and 1945. It was started by Clayton Edward Henning, who was born May 25, 1886. He was married to Catherine Christine Ries (b.1887-d.1963). Last owned by Merle Gunby, a collector of vintage items. |
