Description |
Pike pole point and ferrule. No maker's identification is present. The item has a hand-forged point, which is split to form a poker-like hook underneath a straight point. The point is held in a plain iron ferrule, which is seamed. There is no longer a handle extant. Inside the back end of the ferrule, there is a quantity of wood and a large screw end visible. |
