Description |
This is a wooden SETH THOMAS clock (a). This one was accompanied with its two clock weights (b & c), a winding key (d), and a pendulum (e). The glass lower door area has a basket of fruit motif, inside an oval area surrounded with a fancy gilt-coloured pattern. The white dial has an intentional central hole so that you can see some of the mechanism. The clock has Roman numerals. The wooden carcase has a dark brown finish on it. |

The interior has a large black-printed label with "BRASS CLOCKS, MADE AND SOLD BY SETH THOMAS Plymouth Hollow, Conn. / WARRANTED GOOD" Below this is a lengthy text of directions. There is also a printed line below the directions. |
