Function |
This woven commemorative piece is likely from c. 1901-1902, when people were mourning the death of Queen Victoria, who died on Jan. 22, 1901, and various items were produced and displayed in Britain and the British Empire. The Queen was succeeded by her son, Edward, and the Victorian era became the Edwardian era. |
