Description |
Dark amber-coloured SCHWAN'S EXPORT LAGER OWEN SOUND glass bottle. There is no glassmaker's name or logo seen. It is likely mould-blown. It has two mold seams that run vertically from the base, but disappear below the lip area. One side has raised molded lettering "SCHWAN'S/ EXPORT LAGER/ OWEN SOUND". It has a cylindrical body that shoulders and then goes into a bulbous long neck that ends with a rounded ring lip. "347" is present in raised molded numerals on the underside of the base. This likely refers to the glassmaker's mold number. |
