Description |
Long, Gothic arched, stained glass leaded window with the central motif of "The Holy Spirit" and a falling dove in front of a triangle (which symbolizes God (The Father, The Son, the Holy Spirit)). A horizontal dedication at the bottom reads "Dedicated to the glory of God as a thanks offering from Mr. and Mrs. Reginald C. Milburn." The majority of the glass panes are yellow. |

Made by William James Meikle of the Meikle Stained Glass Studio in Toronto, Ontario. Commissioned by Mr. and Mrs. Reginald C. Milburn around 1948 for the St. John's Anglican Church of Desboro. The church was desanctified in July, 2014, and put up for sale. Grey Roots Museum and Archives had Garlan Stained Glass of Markdale, Grey County, extract the window in October, 2014. |
