Provenance |
Handmade in 1933 by twenty-year-old Leonard Walter Richards (Len Richards), who grew up in the Kilsyth area of Grey County. He was a musician and played a fiddle that he made at local dances. He also later played it (after 1940) in a band that had their performances broadcast from the CFOS radio station at Owen Sound. It was inherited by his son, D. W. (Bill) Richards of Manitoba. |
