Description |
Refillable fuel can. This cylindrical fuel can is made out of a dull, light grey metal and has a galvanized body. It has a red wooden grip handle strung on a thick wire. The top of the can has a central filler cap in addition to a spout with a screw-on cap. There is no visible maker's identification. |

Owned by and used at the Dornoch, Grey County garage owned by J. Leonard Walsh. J. Leonard Walsh operated his garage at Dornoch, Ontario in the 1930s and 1940s. He was an Imperial Oil representative, starting in the 1920s. Passed to his nephew, Patrick Sweeney, who used to assist his uncle in the garage. |
