Provenance |
Unknown. D-shaped handle grips are seen in 1910s and 1920s hardware catalogues. Presume that this barley fork is an early 20th-century item. Last owned by Stanley and Islay Michael (neé Brigham), of #RR 6 Owen Sound (on a farm in Sydenham Township, Grey County). May have belonged to his parents Francis Edgar Michael and Mary Jane Michael (neé Hodgson), previously. |
