Description |
Folk art carving of a wagon on sleigh runners, drawn by a team of two horses and steered by a male figure standing on top of a wood pile. The carving is made of painted wood. The horses are black, with light-brown manes and tails made of hair. They have white mid-way up their legs, and are posed in a walking position. They have red eyes, nostrils and mouths, with a white stripe between their eyes. They have black leather harnesses. Their collars are attached to the red centre shaft which connects to the sleigh. The sleigh is red, with small pieces of wood piled on top of it. The male figure on the top is wearing a black hat, a black jacket, grey pinstriped pants and black shoes. He is mounted on a square piece of wood glued to the wood pile, and he holds the reins of the horse team. |
