Description |
Toddler-sized, female child's artificial fur winter, double-breasted frock coat, accompanied by two bonnets. The coat has pale yellow synthetic fur, with a white flannelette lining. There are five large, two-hole shell buttons. Hooks & eyes. The cuffs are turned up and there is a large, rounded, all-around collar (matches the rest of the fur). |

Maker unknown. Worn by Elizabeth May Smith (b. June 28, 1919-d. Dec. 26, 1989), the daughter of Hannah May and Thomas Smith. She was born on the 7th Line of Collingwood Township, Grey County. The set was worn when she travelled by horse and sleigh to her grandparent's home at Loree, in Collingwood Township. |
