Lithographed red & gold-coloured OCEAN BLEND tea tin (tea caddy). The tin is uprightly rectangular, with rounded corners. The front and back sides have an ornately-printed design. The front has .... / TEA CO Ltd. / 17 Parliament/ TORONTO / MANUFACTURERS" printed. [Ocean Blend Tea Co.]. The underside has no information on it. The side areas are printed with an Art Nouveau-style fancy design. The lid is hinged to the tin. It is pressed tin with a gold-coloured finish. The inside is just one space (not divided as some tea caddies were). |
