Description |
One white milk glass souvenir ribbon plate. It has a fancy moulded openwork edge. A ring of gold gilt outlines the middle of the plate. There used to be a hand-painted blue and green picture in the middle of the plate but is now worn off and not distinguishable. Beside this are the words "SOUVENIR OF MEAFORD" in hand-painted gold lettering. |
Provenance |
Lillie Knaggs reportedly gave one milk glass plated to Vina Ufland and one to Alice Ufland as Christmas gifts around 1900 when she spent the holiday with Vina and Alice's grandparents in St. Vincent Township. Last owned by Vina Ufland. |
