Description |
Small round, white glas container with black metal lid and paper label adhered to the front. It is printed with "H. Kres / Phone 35 Druggist Chatsworth, Ont." and spaces for the prescription number, name of patient, instructions for application or use, the date and the doctor's name. In these spaces written in black ink in script is "25853, Mrs. Jackson, Apply twice a day, 10/7/45 and H. E. Mountain". It is two-thirds filled with white cream. On the bottom is moulded "5554" then a "D" inside a diamond shape, then "10" below it. |

Vial was made by Dominion Glass Company, Canada sometime in or before 1945. Likely purchased by H. Kress, Druggist, of Chatswoth, Grey County in order to fill with medicinal creams for customers. Owned by Marjorie Woods (nee) Jackson, of Williamsford, Grey County, and then by her daughter, Dianne McGaire of Waterloo, Ontario. |
