Description |
Lawn chair or porch chair, that is predominately wooden, with metal hardware. It is a chair that has a simple striped canvas seat (red/green/yellow). It has an x-frame shape at the sides, and there is a bottom dowel stretcher at the front, and one at the back. Nails are used in its construction. |

Unknown. Last owned by M. Adelaide Richter, of Montreal. She was related to the Kennedy, Dowsley and McMurtrie families of Owen Sound, Grey County. Mrs. Richter's parents were Ewen C. McMurtrie and his wife Marjorie, (neé Kennedy), a daughter of Matthew Kennedy Sr. of Owen Sound. |
