Description |
Long, Gothic arched, stained glass leaded window with the central motif of "Hosanna" and a winged heavenly gate. A horizontal dedication at the bottom reads "To the glory of God & in loving memory of Samuel and Martha Palmer. Erected by Fred and Annie Maluskie." The majority of the glass panes are yellow. |

Made by William James Meikle of the Meikle Stained Glass Studio in Toronto, Ontario. Commissioned by Fred and Annie Maluskie around 1948 in memory of Samuel and Martha Palmer for the St. John's Anglican Church of Desboro. The church was desanctified in July, 2014, and put up for sale. Grey Roots Museum and Archives had Garlan Stained Glass of Markdale, Grey County, extract the window in October, 2014. |
