Provenance |
Probably belonged to/issued to John Wesley Ritchie of Berkeley, Grey County, prior to World War I (1914-1918). His 1916 attestation papers read that he had served two years in the 31st Grey Regiment. The 31st was a Canadian militia unit. Last owned by his wife, May Ritchie. |
