Quart-sized, pressed glass OWEN SOUND DAIRY milk bottle. C. C. Bleich's name is present in the embossing, in a curved line "C. C. BLEICH / OWEN SOUND / DAIRY". This shows that the glass factory custom-made the bottles for Mr. Bleich, the proprietor of the Owen Sound Dairy. The glass has an amethyst (purplish) hue. |
