Provenance |
Manufacturer and provenance unknown. Likely dates to the 1890s. Made for or by Taylor & Pringle, a soda water manufacturing company that was owned by Taylor and Pringle in 1886, and was incorporated in 1901 with a capital of $150,000. Around 1911, the firm had branches in Haileybury, Elk Lake, New Liskeard, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury and Porcupine. As Owen Sound didn't have a glass factory then, the company needed to order their glassware from other areas. John Corbet Pringle died in September of 1911. |
