Child's size metal shoe last (for forming / holding a shoe shape) with a jappaned finish, and with the numeral 1 emboss moulded on the top side. |

Unknown. Found with a batch of shoemaking items that may have been assembled from different cobbling sets. They likely belonged to the James Morton family of Owen Sound, Grey County, before they were owned by Hawtin Morton Sr. (known as Ottie Morton Sr.). Last owned by his daughter, Neletia Pederson (neé Morton), who grew up in Owen Sound, in the Mudtown (Northcliffe) area. |
