Description Green, long-sleeved dress jacket from a two-piece "going-away outfit". It is a hand-made, woollen, coat-style jacket designed to match the length of a mini-dress. The coat has five self-covered buttons and button loops for closure. It has a plain, green, synthetic lining. See RELATED.
Provenance Manufacturer unknown, but likely made in Massie, Grey County. Dates to 1970.

Made of a fabric purchased by Leone Diebel (née McPherson) in Stirling or Aberdeen, Scotland, when she was on holiday with a friend in 1969.

Belonged to Leone Diebel, who wore it after her October 24, 1970 wedding to Paul Diebel. They were married at the Massie United Church in Holland Township, Grey County. They spent their wedding night in a hotel in Kincardine and then continued on to the United States for their honeymoon.
