Description |
A Masonic jewel in the form of a pinstem watered silk blue ribbon. The top's hinged pinstem is 10 karat gold, with a banner cast with embossed letters for DURHAM LODGE. The pinstem has a curl catch. The lower end of the ribbon has another gold banner, with NO. 303 A.F.& A.M. Then there is a jump ring with a pendant masonic square motif, with gradations at the left, and maple leaves at the right. Suspended inside the square from two rings is a rectangular openwork item with a ____ symbol inside. The back side is engraved with "Robert Burnett W.M. 1918-9" (W.M. = Worshipful Master). |

Belonged to/worn by Robert Burnett, who was Worshipful Master in 1918-1919. This item was passed down to Norman Robinson of the Edge Hill area of Glenelg Township. It last belonged to Norman's wife, Ruth Anne Robinson (née Hollands), of Kincardine, Ontario. |
