Description |
Large sized navy blue lace blouse with long silk sleeves. The blouse is lined from about the bodice area to the hem. The hem is a band with three metal dome fasteners on each side. The nape also has three dome fasteners. Each cuff has four small faux ball shaped buttons and two dome fasteners to close it. |

Unknown maker. Likely owned and worn by Marion MacClean (nee McNabb) of Owen Sound, Grey County, who died in 1962, or her mother, Janet McNabb (nee McIntyre) who died in 1944 at the age of 89 years. Later owned by Roma Sargent (nee MacClean, 1919-1981), Marion's daughter. Last owned by Penny Sargent of Owen Sound, Roma and Eddie Sargent's daughter. |
