Function |
The masthead of a newspaper was at the top of the front page. The masthead area gave the title of the publication, pertinent details of ownership, and its advertising rates and subscription rates. Ludlow typography was a hot metal typesetting system that was used after 1906, especially for larger fonts. This item was used for the newspaper called the MARKDALE STANDARD, which was printed at Markdale, Grey County. |
