Function |
This type of weigh scale would be suspended from a hook, using the metal loop at the top. One would place whatever you wanted to weigh in a lightweight bag, and hang the bag onto the bottom hook. This would pull the indicator to the weight calibration. Light, portable scales which balance weight against the contraction of a steel coil spring. Used where accuracy was less important than simplicity of use. |
