This Quebec heater has EMPIRE QUEBEC cast at the front. It was manufactured in Owen Sound, Grey County, by the Canadian Heating & Ventilating Company, which was established in 1903 [the short form seen on the heater is C. H. & V. Co.]. This company, located along 3rd Ave. East, was re-named as the "Empire Stove & Furnace Company" in 1917. |
