Description |
Man's WALTHAM wristwatch. It has a plain, black and brown leather wrist strap. The top side is black, while the underside is brown. The silvertone back of the watch was engraved with "PRESENTED TO / K. R. McKAY / 147 BN. / by LEITH FRIENDS". The watch face has large Arabic numerals, as well as a small seconds dial. One piece of the strap is now detached from the watch. It has seven adjustment holes. |

Manufactured by Waltham, in Massachusetts. Dates to the 20th-century. Belonged to Kenneth Russel McKay, then belonged to his grandson, Jim Parker of Calgary, Alberta. It was last owned by Donna Mills-McKay, of Owen Sound. There are archival items in Grey Roots concerning the McKays of the Leith area. |
