Description |
Commemorative white ceramic plate with "Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church / A Century Of Faith / 1896 - 1996 in brown text along the top in the centre. Below this are illustrations three churches, labelled 1897, 1940 and 1988. Below this is "Tell another Generation / Desboro, Ontario". The plate's edge is edged in gold. On the back is a stamp of a maple leaf with "Decorated in Canada" in a banner across it. Below the maple leaf with "22 K Gold / Can. Art / China Ltd. / Collingwood / Ontario". There is a short history of the church below this. |

Made before or in 1996 and decorated by the Candian Art China Company in Collingwood, Ontario, for the Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Desboro Grey County. It may have been made by the church to sell as a fundraiser. Last owned by Lauretta Wright of Owen Sound, Grey County. |
