Description |
This medallion commemorates Queen Victoria's long reign in 1897. She ascended the throne of Britain in 1837 and was coronated in 1838. The medal has a leftwards bust of the Queen. The top arm of the somewhat cross-like perimeter has "AUSTRALIA", the left arm has "INDIA", the bottom arm has "SOUTH AFRICA" and the right side has "CANADA".
