Description |
White ceramic cream pitcher. It is made of glazed Ironstone china. The pitcher has a round, pedestal-style base, and its exterior is molded with a ridged pattern. The lip slopes down and then up into the handle, which has a protrusion at the apex. |
Provenance |
Likely originally belonged to Helen Kennedy (née Inglis) as a child. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Inglis, who had Inglis Falls at Derby Township, Grey County. She married Thomas Kennedy of Owen Sound. Thomas Kennedy passed away in 1878. Helen Kennedy d. 1924, age 77. This suggests that Helen was born circa 1847. Subsequently owned by their daughter, Amy Kennedy. |
