Description |
One of two small, matching LTL [Ladies' Temperance League] lapel pins. It is round, dark-blue and white. The glossy button area is slightly convex, with a circular white margin set around the "LTL" logo. The "T" in the logo is elongated. The Trophy-Craft marker's mark is printed in tiny letters. |

Manufactured in Toronto by Trophy-Craft. Dates to the 20th-century. Belonged to Florence Pilch (née Tiner), who was born in 1886. Her daughter, Winifred Vanstone (née Pilch) was born in 1910. Both were involved with the Women's Christian Temperance Union, or W.C.T.U., in Owen Sound, Grey County. Last owned by Donald L. Vanstone of Paris, Ontario. |
