Provenance |
Owen Sound, Ontario was a C.P.R. rail head and port used by soldiers and officers who headed to and from the Northwest Rebellion on C.P.R. ships. There is an image of the "Noble Volunteers" returning to Owen Sound in the Grey County Archives collection. This ball was collected by the John McLean family of Owen Sound, Ontario, who resided in town c. 1885. |
