Provenance |
Bottle used to contain a soda pop product made by the Wm. Taylor & Son Limited bottling company of Owen Sound, Grey County. ORANGE QUENCH bottles of the shape were a registered design glass pattern produced by the Dominion Glass Company. The design was registered in 1937 (there also was a version of this glass pattern registered in May, 1931). A newspaper advertisement from 1944 or 1945 shows that this bottle shape was in use at that time. Last owned by John Sattler of the Wiarton area, Bruce County. |
