Owned and used by the James Albert Manning family of Owen Sound, Grey County. Mrs. Manning was Helena Manning (neé Cole). It next belonged to their daughter, Hazel Manning of Owen Sound. Candlesticks like this were very popular in the 1920s. The 1927 T. Eaton & Co. spring & summer catalogue has a Dutch pattern candlestick like this, and other patterned wares. |
