A rectangular (landscape orientated) letterpress illustrated printing plate, showing five 19th-century men working in front of a low log building, with tree stumps and barrels in view. Trees are in the background. One man, wearing a Derby hat, looks to be timbersquaring a log with a long-handled axe or adze. Artwork is likely by Roy Fleming (no signature present). Etched/engraved zinc plate. |
