Description |
This cummerbund is from a man's Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps uniform, 1952-1960. The cummerbund is made of maroon-coloured, satiny material. It has brass hardware, with black elastic holding the hardware to the cummerbund. One hardware piece has a maker's mark that looks like a rectangle with the letters "G" "K" and "C" on it. Another hardware piece has "13.0", the letters "AS" in a rectangle, and "4" on it. |
Provenance |
Captain Fred Armstrong (DFC, CD) wore this cummerbund as part of his mess uniform at the Owen Sound Armouries in the past. He was a member of the 19 Field Ambulance, which eventually was phased out. |
