Description |
Round, cast metal, brasstone, medal-like souvenir key ring (a) and its original printed plastic presentation box (b). The lid of the box is printed in gold-coloured ink with "TOWN OF MEAFORD / celebrates / 125 years / 1874-1999" and "www.KARATCLUB.COM". The keyring pendant has an illustration of the "Meaford Opera House / Town Hall". The other side bears the coat of arms (seal) of the Town of Meaford. There is a four-link chain with two jump rings and a round keyholder at the top. |

Manufacturer unknown. Dates to 1999. Belonged to the Town of Meaford, Grey County, which was incorporated in 1874. This item was produced as a souvenir for the town's 125th Anniversary. In 2000, some municipalities in Grey County amalgamated, and the Town of Meaford became part of the new Municipality of Meaford. Last owned by the Municipality of Meaford. |
