Description |
Transparent bottle with "WM. TAYLOR & SON LTD. OWEN SOUND, ONT." molded emboss-style on one side. Crown cap-style bottle. |
Provenance |
Found at a Grey County dump site by William Galbraith of Owen Sound, Grey County. Unknown which glass factory made it. The bottle was made for Wm. Taylor & Son Ltd., a bottling company that was located at Owen Sound, Grey County. It likely dates after 1920 and before the 1950s (due to its cap style). In the 1922 Vernon's Directory of Owen Sound, the Wm. Taylor & Son Ltd. bottling company was located at 957 4th Ave. East, and was then making carbonated beverages. |
