Black brushed velvet top hat. Black moire ribbon around the base of the crown and around the edge of the brim. Pale brown leather inner band. White silk lining. On inside top of crown is a circular black crest with "Thomas J. Procter Established 1840 LATE HOLBROOK 46 Strand London W.G." printed on it. "McL" written in pencil on the top inside of crown [= McLauchlan]. Manufactured. |
