Provenance |
This bullet dates from the Great War (later called the First World War). It belonged to Arthur Clifford Husband, who had served overseas during that conflict, and brought home a number of souvenirs. Arthur kept this bullet in a British match safe he also owned. He died in 1920. Subsequently owned by his mother, Mary Husband (neé Fraser), who died not long after her son's death. Last owned by Alice Husband (neé Gilbert), the second wife of Charles Husband (Arthur's father). |
