George J. Foot and his wife, Mrs. Eva C. Foot had a house at 4th Ave. West and then later resided at 574 13th St. West. Their daughter Alice Foot married Johnstone Douglas Urquhart of Owen Sound. Mrs. Alice Urquhart died at Toronto on March 4, 1976. Alice's daughters were Elinor Walker and Josephine Walker. Both of the sisters had married Walkers, but the fellows were not related. Elinor said that her grandmother was Mrs. George F. Foot, The Walker sisters are relatives of Sid Day, Lottie Day, and Mrs. Herb Little (nee Day). |
