Jim Petty grew up at Holstein, in Grey County. In the 1950s when he lived there, he participated in team sports. He used to purchase some of his sports equipment at Barnard's Hardware Store at Holstein. In later years Jim moved away from Grey County and resided in New Brunswick. He noted on a pair of child's skates that they had belonged to Dorothy Petty (nee Badgerow), who had been lived near Flesherton when she was young. Was this his mother? |
