A descendent of George Scheuermann, Victor Scheuermann, died in 1978. He had worked with his uncle William Scheuermann in the blacksmith shop at Lot 20, Concession 2, Bentinck Township, Grey County. William also was skilled at making hand-made corn brooms. William Scheuermann died in 1966, and Victor carried on the business. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Scheuermann had a son, Jim Scheuermann, and circa 1982, he and his mother were still living at Lot 19, which had been severed from the original holding. Carol (Scheuermann) Harper is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Victor Scheuermann.
