The Scenic City Dairy business was located at 314 8th St. East, Owen Sound, Ontario, from 1939 into the 1960s. It was in 1939 that Mr. Wilbur Smith, Mr. R. J. Walter, Mr. V. C. Porteous, Mr. Tom Rutherford and Mr. Sidney Murray bought a pre-existing dairy on 8th St. The new owners called it the "Scenic City Dairy". In 1949, the Smith family bought the other shareholders out. In 1961, Mr. Bert Smith became the owner. |
