There is an image showing Leonard Walsh standing outside his garage in the book, FARM LANES OF BENTINCK (see pp. 47 and 48). In 1940, the Imperial Oil Co. Ltd. presented J. L. Walsh with a "Certificate of Appreciation" for being a retailer of their products for 16 years. (see 1992.023.014) James Leonard Walsh, formerly of Dornoch, died on June 5, 1986, in his 92nd year, at a retirement home in Durham. He is buried at St. Paul's Cemetery in Grey County. |
