The 1987 International Plowing Match was held near Meaford, Grey County. Two special attendees were the Earl of Grey, and his Countess, Lady Grey. They visited the County of Grey-Owen Sound Museum in Owen Sound, as well as the IPM. The County of Grey-Owen Sound Museum had an appliqued quilt made to show at the event, and also displayed a restored Fleury-Bissell plow. Ontario Premier David Peterson also attended (need to verify this yet). |
