The Adams Company was established in 1883. The name was still being used in 2012: the company made precision gears, etc, and was still located in Dubuque, Iowa. The Adams Company was connected to some car production in the 1904-1913 time period (The Adams-Farwell Automobile), and also had an experimental helicopter project, circa 1907. The company built the first successful rotary engine. |
