Dr. Knox was the Grey County public health veterinarian for more than 30 years. He inspected meat plants, milking operations and other facilities where animals were used for food production. He was a "country vet" who rushed off to calls at all hours in all weather. For much of his career he was one of only two veterinarians in Owen Sound. |
